Cue trumpet fan as we introduce King Keith. Star of this ginger cat greeting card. Claire found Keith on the road at the end of her house. He was young but not a kitten and someone had cut all his whiskers. She took him to be scanned and advertised him locally but no one claimed him. Secretly pleased, Claire kept him and King Keith has lived with her ever since. Self proclaimed King of the Street, Keith sits on the roofs of the highest cars to oversee his kingdom and doesn’t rush to get off, even if the owners are running late for work. When Claire lived on a farm he used to play with the baby foxes, they probably decided he was one of them due to his size, colour and huge bushy tail. One morning she was woken up by his meowing and went to the kitchen door. There was Keith on the doorstep with a fox sat next to him, both looking up at Claire. Sadly, the fox bolted so Keith couldn’t invite him in to play. These days King Keith loves making the neighbours jump by popping up at their windows. The old gags are still the best!
